From bill of quantities to progress claim.

A contractor operating system built around the commercial spine: bill of quantities into a contract that locks the schedule, progress claims that roll forward correctly, variations that revise the contract value, plus quality, safety and plant.

What it does

From bill of quantities to progress claim.

Civil work lives or dies on the progress claim, and the progress claim is where the errors are. Quantities are re-typed from a spreadsheet, retention is calculated by hand against a cap nobody can find, a variation is agreed on site and never makes it into the contract value, and the claim goes out either wrong or late.

Pardalote makes that chain the product. A bill of quantities becomes a contract that locks the schedule; claims roll forward period on period with retention handled as a percentage, a cap and a release; variations inject their own claim lines and revise the contract value; and the field side — inspections, forms, safety, plant, controlled documents — records against the same job.

What's inside

The parts that matter

  • Bill of quantities — an editor that accepts a paste straight out of a spreadsheet
  • Contract that locks the schedule — so a rate can’t quietly move after it was agreed
  • Progress claims that roll forward — this-period and to-date, retention percentage, cap and release, GST
  • Variations — approval injects the claim lines and revises the contract value
  • Branded claim and tax-invoice print views — what the client’s QS is expecting to receive
  • Quality, safety and plant — inspections, toolbox and pre-start forms, plant service reminders
  • Offline field capture — a form filled with no signal syncs when there is one
